08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste

11 - 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
# Steps to Follow:
01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic until meat is browned and onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
02 - Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and uncooked macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine, cover, and simmer on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is tender.
03 - Remove from heat and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top before serving, if desired.
