# Steps to Follow:
01 - Wash and thoroughly dry the apples. Insert wooden sticks into the tops and set aside.

03 - Increase heat and boil without stirring until syrup reaches 300°F (hard crack stage) on a candy thermometer, approximately 7 to 8 minutes.
04 - Remove from heat and quickly stir in black gel food coloring and vanilla extract.
05 - Dip each apple carefully into the candy mixture, swirling to coat evenly. Allow excess to drip off and place on parchment-lined tray to set.
06 - Position the coated apples centrally on a large serving board.
